 The Hawaii Branch of the Arthritis Foundation has moved their annual fundraiser to The Waterfront at Aloha Tower and added Blues music by “Bluzilla” with special guest “jammers.” This magical evening of exquisite wine, gourmet dining, blues music is a signature fundraising event for the Hawaii Branch and supports our mission to improve the lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases. All proceeds from this event will benefit research, programs, services, and education to help improve the quality of life for those suffering from arthritis in Hawaii.
Arthritis is the #1 cause of work disability in the United States of America. More than 46 million people across the country suffer from any of the 120 forms of arthritis at an annual cost to the U.S. economy of $86.2 billion. Locally there are over 212,000 of our Hawaii ohana, including hundreds of children, affected by arthritis. More children suffer from arthritis than juvenile diabetes, muscular dystrophy, cystic fibrosis and cerebral palsy combined.
Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased by calling the Arthritis Foundation at
596-2900. Cash, Personal check, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
